Marukome Ryotei no Aji Medium Red Aka Miso with Dashi 375g
The ryotei no aji miso paste contains the right amount of bonito and konbu (kelp) dashi which is blended into the red miso base. This miso paste with dashi broth makes it easier and more convenient to make flavourful miso soup, one of the most popular Japanese staple foods.
How to use
Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan. Add bonito flakes, turn off the heat and allow the broth to stand for 3 to 4 minutes. (Strain if the flakes are coarse.) Return the broth to a boil, then add diced tofu, wakame and miso creamed in a little of the hot broth. Bring the broth to the boil and remove it from the heat. Top with a sprinkling of the leeks and serve hot or cold.
