Boil it, grill it, stir fry it! Whatever way you like to enjoy it, yam cake konnyaku is low in carbohydrates, low in calories and low G.I. Made from the konjac yam plant, yam cake konnyaku has a chewy, crunchy texture and little flavour of its own. A great addition to soup or stews, you can also enjoy it with a little wasabi or miso paste. Please refrigerate, do not freeze. Consume as soon as possible after opening.
How to use
This konnyaku can be used in a variety of dishes.
• Drain and rinse well, then pre-cook in boiling water for 2-3 minutes before using.
• Boil in oden broth for a warm winter soup.
• Add to hot pot dishes such as nabe and sukiyaki.
• Please keep refrigerated after opening.
