Itsuki Tomoshirage Somen Noodle 400g

Long, thin, best served cold. Allow Tomoshiraga's somen noodles to cool you down during the warmer months. Grouped into five equal bunches, these somen noodles are made from wheat flour, water and a little salt, and are so long and thin that they can be cooked in just three minutes. Serve your somen cold with tsuyu dipping sauce and assorted garnishes.

One of the lesser-known varieties of Japanese noodle, somen are long and very thin wheat noodles that are most notorious for how little time they take to prepare. They are commonly served cold with tsuyu dipping sauce and assorted garnishes, but they are also excellent for hot noodle soups.

How to use

1. Put a bundle of noodles into 500ml of boiling water. and stir gently.

2. Boil for 2.5mins and drain with cold water.

3. Add your favourite meat or vegetable.
